Later, in a conversation with the Daily Record, Harvey admitted Morgan refused to accept her side of the story. “There was a heavy emphasis on Gadd and the emails I [supposedly sent],” she said.
“I wouldn’t say I was happy. Piers kept telling me, ‘Are you sure you haven’t sent 41,000 emails and calls to this guy?’. For much of the interview, about a good 10 minutes, he kept coming back to it,” she added.
“I said, ‘Look, even if I have sent a few emails, that doesn’t mean I’m guilty of the rest. As I said, for something to be considered a true story, it has to be 100% true’. […] I feel a bit used.”
